With a background in family medicine, urgent care, orthopedics, and sports medicine, Dr. Elrod brings a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to wound care. His leadership focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality care while improving outcomes for patients with complex and non-healing wounds.
Education and experience
Dr. Elrod earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso before attending Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in California.
He then served five years in the United States Army as a Captain and Field Surgeon, where he gained valuable experience in:
